Will allowing guns on college campuses make them safer? Why/why not?

Professor’s Response : thanks for your hard work on this outline! You’re absolutely on the right track here. However, consider how you might steer your outline (particularly, your thesis and topic sentences) more towards the specific essay topic (whether/why allowing guns on college campuses will/won’t make them safer). In other words, each argument should ANSWER this question. Consider using the TOPIC+CLAIM+3 MAIN IDEAS thesis formula, and then use the 3 main ideas in the thesis to develop your 3 topic sentences. Remember, ALL of your claims must agree with each other — your goal is to PERSUADE, not to inform. You have many of the ingredients you will need here for a successful essay. But you do NOT need to explore related topics like the 2nd amendment — you ONLY need to focus on the specific essay topic. Also, please be sure to provide evidence from four of the ASSIGNED unit readings. Lastly, double check your citations and be sure to revise very carefully.
