Defining White Collar and Organized Crime

For this discussion, assume you are a federal law enforcement instructor stationed at the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS’s) Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, Georgia. You have been asked to prepare a presentation to trainees about white collar crime task forces. In preparation for this presentation, conduct some research on OCDETF and other white collar crime task forces.

Describe how the different agencies come together to combat white collar and organized crime.
Analyze challenges encountered by law enforcement and prosecutors as a result of working in such a diverse group of local, state, and federal law enforcement officers.
